Nuestro Futuro, in partnership with The Chicago Community Trust and University of Illinois at Chicago Great Cities Institute, invites you to a special presentation on a newly released report, “Assessing Philanthropic Support for Latines in the Chicago Area,” examining trends in philanthropic funding to Latine organizations in Cook County.
The report found major disparities in philanthropic funding directed at Latine communities, despite Latines making up 26% of Cook County’s population. We recognize there is much more work to do to ensure that we are lifting up Latine voices in philanthropy and meeting the evolving needs of Cook County’s fastest growing population.
Join us on October 28, 2024 for a discussion on the report’s findings and what it means for those committed to supporting the Latine population in the Chicago region.

Our Impact
Our grantmaking priorities are focused on early childhood education and immigration, key issue areas within the Latine community. Nuestro Futuro also cultivates leadership opportunities for up-and-coming donors and civic leaders.
In the spring of 2022, when the COVID-19 pandemic hit the region, we pivoted our resources to provide more than $400,000 in responsive grantmaking dollars to address the disproportionate health and economic effects of the pandemic on the Latine community and the organizations that serve them.
Elevating Latine philanthropy to support Chicago-area organizations and programs aimed at improving the quality of life for the Latine community.
