Nuestro Futuro is made up of a volunteer steering committee led by two co-chairs. The committee is in charge of leading our yearly grant making and fundraising efforts. Annual member dues are allocated to our endowment for future grant making.

Our Impact

Through our grant making program, we address the evolving needs of the Latinx community and support Latinx-led community organizations that often do not get funding from mainstream philanthropies.

The Future for Our Community

Our grant making priorities are focused on early childhood education and immigration, key issue areas within the Latinx community. Nuestro Futuro also cultivates leadership opportunities for up-and-coming donors and civic leaders.

In the spring of 2022, when the COVID-19 pandemic hit the region, we pivoted our resources to provide more than $400,000 in responsive grant making dollars to address the disproportionate health and economic effects of the pandemic on the Latinx community and the organizations that serve them.
