Lilly Athamanah is the digital media manager for The Chicago Community Trust.
In this role, Lilly develops and oversees the Trust’s digital initiatives and online presence—crafting and executing strategies to leverage the Trust’s website, social media, online platforms, and email marketing to achieve organizational objectives. She also provides strategic counsel to implement and assess creative solutions and visuals across the organization.
With the Trust’s digital and online presence being an essential element for the success of its work, Lilly combines design strategy and digital storytelling to collaborate on content creation in a variety of formats—reaching new audiences and inspiring increased engagement to support communications campaigns for key stakeholders, including donors, grant recipients, and community leaders.
A Chicago native and Posse Scholar, Lilly graduated from Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota with a bachelor’s degree in American Studies. Prior to joining the Trust in 2020, Lilly served on the communications teams for Vivid Seats and The Joyce Foundation.
