Ralph Leslie is the chief financial officer at The Chicago Community Trust.
Prior to joining the Trust, Leslie served as executive vice president, chief operating officer and chief financial officer at The Pew Charitable Trusts, where he led finance, information technology, workplace services, and human resources. Leslie has also served as chief financial officer and associate dean of finance and business operations at Northwestern University’s Weinberg College of Arts & Sciences. Before that, he served as chief financial officer and treasurer of The Obama Foundation. Additionally, he has held senior accounting, finance and strategy roles at organizations including Navy Pier Inc., Start Early, PepsiCo, and Cargill Inc.
Leslie received a master’s in business administration from the University of St. Thomas in Minnesota and completed post graduate business courses at the Carlson School of Business at the University of Minnesota. He has a bachelor’s in accounting from Chicago State University.
Leslie currently serves as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of Easter Seals of Metro Chicago, Treasurer of the Board of Directors of the American Brain Foundation, and is also a Director of Community in Schools of Chicago.
