Janice Atkins Washington is the senior coordinator of philanthropic services for The Chicago Community Trust.
In this role, she is responsible for gift and grant processing for donor advised funds, as well as management of the donor database. Janice serves as liaison to the Finance Department for facilitation of the Northern Trust Charitable Giving Program and processes donor advised fund agreements. She is also liaison for the Asian Giving Circle, manages a portfolio of donor advised funds, and troubleshoots donor inquiries related to gift and grant processes.
Janice joined the Trust in July 2007. Previously, she held professional positions with Northwestern University, Allstate, and BP (British Petroleum).
She holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from Northeastern Illinois University and an MBA from North Park University. She is a member of the MS Women In Network.
