Aimee Ramirez

Director of Policy Change

Aimee Ramirez (she/her/ella) is the director of Policy Change at The Chicago Community Trust.

Aimee leads the Trust’s Policy Change team and oversees the development and execution of the Trust’s policy agenda and priorities. Before joining the Trust in 2020, Aimee managed policy and government relations for the Greater Chicago Food Depository where she advocated for state and federal reforms aimed at combatting food insecurity and protecting access to federal nutrition programs. Aimee began her career in government, serving in the Illinois State Treasurer’s Office, Cook County Bureau of Administration, and Office of Congresswoman Robin Kelly (IL-2).

Aimee earned her master’s degree in leadership and policy studies from DePaul University’s School of Public Service and her bachelor’s degree in political science from Loyola University Chicago.
