My Organization Neighborhoods Uniting Kids in Excellence has already stood up a youth program. We're going expand the program to fulfill this organizational gap.We have the staff, space, and capacity to do so. Were going to follow the same strategic plan with Neighborhoods Uniting Kids in Excellence and Bridging the Gap between the Community and Police for three-day Memorial Day weekend and June Gap. We are seeking to get funding for our programs to run for the weekend leading to Memorial Day and for the June Gap. Also we will incorporate free haircuts for the youth in both programs.

Our SEL, P.A.T.T.S and Trauma Awareness programs align with one or more of the Seven Field Principles (7FP) model, an evidence-based framework, which has been successful in fostering strong communities and reducing violence. We are proposing to move the start of our programs to include the Memorial Day weekend and the gap period between June 6th and June 26th. We will use the programing that we already have in place. The staff is in place & on board to start sooner than anticipated.
