Sarah Bertman (she/her) is a program specialist for Income & Assets at The Chicago Community Trust.
In this role, she supports the development, execution, and continuous improvement of the Income & Assets portfolio strategy.
Sarah is experienced in direct service community work and nonprofit administration. Prior to moving to Chicago for her graduate studies, Sarah worked as a Bilingual Victim Advocate for the YWCA and as a Program Coordinator for Habitat for Humanity.
Sarah holds a bachelor of arts from the University of Michigan as well as a master’s in social work and a master’s in Social Sector Leadership and Nonprofit Management from the University of Chicago Crown Family School of Social Work, Policy, and Practice.
