This grant, funded by MacArthur, will support year three exploration, community engagement and implementation of the EcoDistrict model and green infrastructure implementation across Elevated Chicago eHubs, Elevated Chicago Plus geographies, and ETOD Policy Plan pilot sites. Center for Neighborhood Technology will act as the project manager and technical assistance provider for this work. A mid-year report is due in November for 2nd disbursement of grant funds and a final report is due to Marly Schott via email at marly@elevatedchicago.org by July 31, 2022.

YWCA Metropolitan Chicago
YWCA Metropolitan Chicago is requesting support from the Chicago Community Trust for the operation and expansion of our Family Strengthening Program, operating out of the YWCA Parks Francis Center in Chicago’s Woodlawn community. YWCA’s Family Strengthening Program provides critical, trauma-informed interventions to promote healthy child development, encourage positive parent-child relationships and prevent child abuse and neglect for at-risk, low income families. We provide this support through our Young Parents (YPP) and Project HELP programs focused on child development and helping parents identify and manage situational stress, strengthen social and emotional support networks, and increase knowledge and use of holistic support services.
