    Wrap Your Beyouty Movement

    Awarded: Awarded Amount: $5,000

August 10th thru the 20th I will be partnering with several youth orgs to provide holistic and healing services and/or simply hold space for youth, women and families. I will also host another event at The Rink for youth like the one I hosted when the mayor attended during the Juneteenth gap. If funded, I will also be sure to add youth to my already scheduled healing spaces for adults, as one of the reasons I choose adults only often times is because I cannot afford food and accommodations for both. All of my outdoor community events are well attended by long time residents and their children who I’ve worked with over the years and the word spreads! I have a small staff, plus a village of paid volunteers to assist WYBM events in the neighborhood. Activities include peace circles (my favorite), organized neighborhood walks (for connection and belonging), visionboarding and meditation sessions.
