This year’s featured artwork was made by Owen Esling, a young artist at Marwen—a nonprofit arts organization based in Chicago. Founded in 1987, Marwen has supported nearly 16,000 young people through studio art courses, academic mentorship, and professional development programs at no cost. Believing in the power of young artists, Marwen educates and inspires young people to nurture their growth and build their futures through art and community—seeing art as a pathway to opportunity and self-discovery.
