Special Awards
Since its inception in 1915, the Trust has been more than just a leader in Chicago’s philanthropic community. It has worked to inspire new generations of leadership in the not-for-profit and public sectors; to give tomorrow’s innovative thinkers the tools, time and support they need to focus their energies and hone their approaches.
Central to this process are two special award programs: the Fellowship for Community Leaders and the James Brown IV Award of Excellence for Outstanding Community Service.
With these award programs, the Trust hopes to inspire those tireless souls who dedicate themselves to creating a better Chicago for all of us.
