The Arts Work Fund makes grants to small arts and cultural organizations that serve the six-county Chicago metropolitan area and have operating revenues of less than $1 million.
Grants are made to support efforts that strengthen:
- Audience development,
- Improving financial management,
- Fundraising strategy development,
- Facility readiness assessment,
- Business plan development,
- Succession planning,
- Strengthening board and volunteer programs,
- Website design and redesign, and
- Technology planning.
