Grants
The Asian Giving Circle, a donor advised fund of The Chicago Community Trust, made its first grants in 2004 to three Asian-American organizations in Chicago.
Since those initial grants, the Asian Giving Circle has contributed more than $40,000 to not-for-profit organizations serving the diverse Asian-American communities of metropolitan Chicago. Grant recipients include:
- Asian Human Services
- Cambodian Association of Illinois
- Center for Immigrant Resources and Community Arts
- Coalition of African, Arab, Asian, European and Latino Immigrants of Illinois (CAAAELII)
- Indo-American Center
- Japanese American Service Committee
- Korean American Resource and Cultural Center
- Vietnamese Association of Illinois
- Young Asians with Power! (YAWP)
- ZAM’s Hope
We welcome grant requests from dynamic not-for-profit organizations that exhibit high potential and promote promising ideas and strategies to address an important issue in the Asian-American community.
