The Partnership for New Communities

The Partnership for New Communities brings together leaders from the business, foundation, academic and faith communities to encourage efforts to transform former public housing sites into thriving mixed-income communities.

Formed in 2003, the Partnership works to stimulate large-scale economic revitalization of some of Chicago’s most distressed neighborhoods. It aims to enhance economic opportunities for residents of these communities.  And it promotes the development of strong institutions to enrich community life and sustain economic diversity.
