Arts Education Initiative

The Arts Education Initiative, a funder collaborative of The Chicago Community Trust, promotes systemic change in how the Chicago Public Schools teach the arts – music, dance, theater and the visual arts.

The Initiative aims to expand and institutionalize comprehensive arts education programs for all elementary school children in Chicago Public Schools.

We work closely on statewide advocacy with the Illinois Arts Alliance.
