Special Affiliates and Initiative Programs

For more than 90 years, The Chicago Community Trust has offered innovative ways for Chicagoans to continue the proud tradition of philanthropy in Greater Chicago.

As part of that tradition, we channel much of our work through special affiliates and initiatives, making it easier for grant seekers to partner with donors interested in these specific areas of funding.

• The African American Legacy Initiative: Carrying on the rich tradition of giving in Chicago’s African-American community
• Arts Work Fund: Dedicated to strengthening the business profiles of small arts and cultural organizations so they may continue to enrich the Chicago community
• Asian Giving Circle: A fund focused on serving Chicago’s diverse Asian communities
• Chicago Area Foundation for Legal Services (CAFLS):  Created to address the availability and quality of legal services for the poor
• Lake County Community Foundation:  Focuses on Lake County, Illinois
• Nuestro Futuro: A philanthropic initiative focused on supporting the growth and well-being of Chicago’s Latino community
