Health

The Trust believes community health is more than just eradicating disease; it is a holistic approach to the complete physical, mental and social well being of Chicagoans. With that in mind, the Trust’s grant making considers a full range of health issues, including lifestyle and health behaviors, social and physical environments as well as access to, and utilization of, health care services.

Currently, the Trust’s Health program is making the following areas a priority:

  • Health Care System Change
  • Improving Lifestyle and Behavioral Choices
  • Reducing Environmental Health Threats
