Supporting Latinos From their Earliest Years

Leaders of the region's Latino community united with the Trust in Nuestro Futuro – “Our Future.” This initiative enables the Latino community to pool resources for greater impact in addressing problems of common concern. Nuestro Futuro's goals are to involve more Latinos in philanthropy, and to support the organizations and programs improving the quality of life of Latinos in metropolitan Chicago.

Meet Nuestros Niños—and the nonprofits preparing them for success.

Here you'll find just a few of the personal stories from inside our 2011 Nuestros Niños grant recipients. Learn how these innovative programs are preparing Latino children from birth to age five with a foundation for lifelong learning:

With support from Hispanics in Philanthropy and the Chicago Site Committee of the Funders' Collaborative for Strong Latino Communities, of which the Trust was a member, LEA codified its programs into Student Success Strategies.
