The Partnership for New Communities is a group of business, civic and foundation leaders working together to support the Chicago Housing Authority’s Plan for Transformation—the largest and most ambitious reconstruction of public housing in the country’s history. Co-founded by the Trust and the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, it strives to ensure that these transitioning neighborhoods—formerly isolated and impoverished—develop into healthy, sustainable communities integrated into the city's overall economy.
