
Veronica Vidal is manager of development for The Chicago Community Trust. In this role she coordinates and manages activities to raise unrestricted, restricted and endowment funds. She is responsible for managing donor advised funds, prospect research and the identification, solicitation, cultivation and stewardship of individual donors and foundations.
Prior to joining the Trust, Vidal participated in its Fellowship in Arts & Culture Management program, working on a variety of projects for the development departments of Lincoln Park Zoo, The School of the Art Institute, Shedd Aquarium and Chicago Children's Museum. Vidal has worked in the nonprofit sector for 14 years, serving primarily in public relations positions for the International Latino Cultural Center of Chicago, Prevention First and Heartland Alliance. She is a graduate of Marquette University with a bachelor's degree in journalism.
