Lloyd “Chip” Fry is the director of development for The Chicago Community Trust. Fry is responsible for implementing the fundraising plans of the Trust, stewarding relationships with donors and increasing support for the endowment of the Trust as well as other special initiatives.

 

For more than 25 years, Fry has been an active leader in Chicago's philanthropic community. Prior to joining the Trust, Fry spent 16 years as director of development and vice president of development at Window To The World Communications Inc., the nonprofit parent of WTTW Channel 11 and 98.7 WFMT. Fry began his development career in 1983 at the Illinois Institute of Technology, serving in a wide variety of development management positions. Fry is also a director of the Lloyd A. Fry Foundation, a Chicago-based philanthropy started by his grandfather. Fry holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa.
